Job description
Job Summary
The Production Planner plays a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing the planning and scheduling of production processes. This position ensures that manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently managing resources to meet production demands and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation of production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with various departments to align production goals with supply chain capabilities.
- Identify potential issues in the production process and propose solutions to mitigate risks.
- Monitor production metrics and adjust plans accordingly to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in production planning or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in planning software and tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and production processes.
