Job Summary
The Production Planner will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the manufacturing schedule to ensure efficient production operations, maintaining inventory levels, and meeting customer demand. This role involves analyzing production data and collaborating with various departments to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer requirements and ensure timely product delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain personnel to align material availability with production needs.
- Analyze production performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and other departments to resolve production issues.
- Adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or production capacity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in production planning or inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
