Project Manager
$81/HR
(Hybrid) – 25% Travel

Overview of the Project Manager Role:
In the capacity of Project Manager, you will take charge of leading intricate programs and initiatives from their initial conception through to successful implementation. You will guide cross-functional teams in order to meet strategic goals and achieve key deliverables. Utilizing your expertise and leadership capabilities, you will oversee program scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Direct the planning, execution, and management of large-scale programs and projects to guarantee they align with the organization’s objectives and priorities.
  • Clarify program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria; develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure goals are met.
  • Create and sustain effective governance frameworks, communication pathways, and stakeholder engagement strategies for transparency, accountability, and alignment throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Manage cross-functional project teams, including internal and external stakeholders, to carry out project tasks, resolve challenges, and alleviate risks.
  • Evaluate program performance metrics, monitor progress against timelines, and communicate program status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Lead change management efforts, facilitate decision-making processes, and promote continuous improvement initiatives to boost program effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Guide and mentor junior program managers and project team members, nurturing a culture of collaboration, learning, and professional growth.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 6 to 9 years of experience in program or project management or a related position, showing an upward trajectory in responsibility and leadership.
  • Proven success in managing multifaceted programs and projects from initiation to completion while delivering on time, within budget, and adhering to quality standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, capable of dissecting complex issues, identifying solutions, and facilitating resolutions.
  • Deep familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including PMBOK, Agile, and Waterfall.
  • Capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities, and adjusting to evolving demands.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar.
  • Experience in managing programs or projects within a technology, engineering, or product development setting.
  • Familiarity with program and portfolio management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
  • Understanding of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices. Previous experience in leadership roles or managing cross-functional teams.
