Job description

**Public Safety Data Technician I**

The Public Safety Data Technician I is responsible for verifying, managing, and extracting data from multiple law enforcement computer systems. This role includes supporting officers through handling extradition arrangements, providing victim notifications, and ensuring the confidentiality and protection of sensitive criminal justice data. To qualify, candidates need to possess a high school diploma or GED in addition to a minimum of one year of experience in processing legal documents within a law enforcement or legal environment. Moreover, applicants must secure and uphold designated state certifications and successfully undergo background checks, drug screenings, and polygraph examinations.
