Job Summary
The Pursuit Strategist is responsible for spearheading the strategy formulation related to intricate project pursuits. This role encompasses conducting market analysis, developing win-plans, and orchestrating strategy workshops. Additionally, the Pursuit Strategist works in collaboration with cross-functional teams to create impactful proposals and provides coaching to staff in effective presentation and storytelling methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy development process for complex project bids.
- Conduct thorough market research to inform strategic decisions.
- Create and implement win-plans to enhance project success rates.
- Facilitate strategy workshops that engage cross-functional team members.
- Collaborate with teams to generate compelling and persuasive proposals.
- Coach team members on effective presentation and storytelling techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years in a proposal management role specifically within a professional services setting.
- Proficient in InDesign and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities accompanied by excellent communication skills.
