Job Summary
The X-ray Technologist is responsible for the operation of x-ray equipment to generate diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process. This role encompasses the documentation of exam details and the communication of significant findings to attending physicians, in addition to the upkeep of examination facilities.
Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment to create accurate diagnostic images.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
- Document all relevant information regarding examinations performed.
- Report critical findings to physicians promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in radiologic technology.
- Active ARRT-R certification.
- State-specific Radiologic Tech license, with the ability to obtain if not currently held.
- Fluoroscopy certification required.
