Job description
The Referral Coordinator oversees the management of patient referrals to physicians, coordinates radiology appointments, and handles insurance authorization processes. Additionally, they are responsible for processing insurance appeals and keeping precise records for both physicians and insurance companies. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or an equivalent G.E.D. While prior experience in healthcare is preferred, candidates with backgrounds as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Medical Assistants who have clinical experience will be prioritized.
