Job Summary
The Regional Director plays a key role in overseeing and implementing water resource engineering initiatives, focusing on project management aspects such as scope, budget, and timelines. This position is pivotal in fostering business development, coaching technical personnel, and serving as a liaison between the firm and clients as well as regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of water resource engineering projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budgetary constraints, and timelines.
- Drive business development initiatives to strengthen the firm’s presence and market share.
- Provide mentorship to technical staff to enhance their skills and professional growth.
- Act as a representative for the firm in interactions with clients and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
- A degree in civil or environmental engineering is essential.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible experience in the field of water resources is required.
- Possession of a Professional Engineering (PE) license is mandatory.
- Certification as a Floodplain Manager (CFM) is preferred.
