Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive patient care within healthcare settings. This professional is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring a high standard of health and safety. Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Participate in patient care meetings and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred or an Associate degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be beneficial.
