Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering both direct and indirect care to patients, keeping an eye on their progress, and accurately documenting observations in electronic medical records. This role involves working alongside various healthcare professionals to execute care plans and effectively manages emergency situations with suitable nursing interventions.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect care to patients.
- Monitor and assess patient progress.
- Document patient findings accurately in electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations with appropriate nursing interventions.
Qualifications
- Valid California Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification.
- Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply for non-specialty units.
- At least one year of acute care experience is required for specialty units.
