**Release of Information Specialist**
The Release of Information Specialist is tasked with managing requests for medical records while upholding compliance with HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies. This role involves verifying authorizations, conducting quality assurance, and ensuring precise documentation within the ROI software system. Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or GED, although a preferred degree is advantageous. Previous experience in ROI fulfillment, familiarity with EHR/EMR systems, and a solid understanding of HIPAA regulations are strongly preferred.
