Job Summary
The Student Respiratory Therapy Assistant plays a vital role in aiding the provision of respiratory care to patients across various age groups, working under the guidance of certified respiratory therapists. Responsibilities
- Support licensed therapists in delivering respiratory care services.
- Maintain and prepare respiratory therapy equipment for use.
- Assist with various medical procedures, including intubation and bronchoscopy.
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients to ensure their well-being.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a recognized respiratory therapy program is mandatory.
- Ability to obtain essential certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, and Basic Life Support within six months following the hiring date.
