Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department, specifically for a contract position in Beachwood, OH, with a duration of 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced environment providing emergency medical care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and maintain composure under pressure.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide education and support.
Qualifications
- Current RN license and certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Verification of licensure and certifications.
- Immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine.
- Completion of fit testing and health statement requirements.
- Pass the NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) examination.
- Successful completion of the UHS specific requirements such as background checks, fingerprinting, and drug screening.
- Documentation of prior employment and skills competency through UHS programs.
- Driver’s License or State ID is required.
- Completion of all UHS submission packet components.
