Job Summary
The RN for the Specialty Clinic is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a specialized environment. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure effective management of patient needs, focusing on both clinical and emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a specialty setting.
- Assist physicians with specialized procedures and patient assessments.
- Educate patients and families about health management and treatments.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatments.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
- Manage administrative tasks associated with patient documentation and health records.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in a specialty clinic or related clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of coding and insurance verification processes is a plus.
