The Safety Sitter is responsible for the uninterrupted monitoring of patients to guarantee their safety and will notify the nursing staff of any changes in behavior or potential risks. In addition, they assist patients with daily living activities, uphold a secure environment, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team. Applicants should possess a high school diploma and be able to complete Wellstar training within 30 days. Prior experience in healthcare and completion of a CNA/CMA program or nursing fundamentals is highly desirable.
