Job Summary
The SCU RN (7P-7A) role involves delivering high-quality nursing care in a structured and supportive environment during nighttime hours. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the SCU.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient needs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatment as prescribed.
- Document patient progress and communicate with the medical team effectively.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health management.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to policy development.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a critical care setting preferred.
- Strong assessment and clinical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
