Job Summary
We are in search of a skilled Senior Accounting Consultant to strengthen our team during a challenging phase that will last until April 2027. This individual will play a crucial role in managing essential tasks related to separation, reporting, and operational goals, especially in light of an intricate carve-out scenario as we prepare for the Mobility spin-off. The role demands significant contributions across accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and legal entity workloads.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate accounting and reporting processes connected to the Mobility spin-off and separation tasks.
- Aid in the preparation and analysis of the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
- Assist with the restructuring of legal entities and execution of related accounting obligations for NewCo.
- Handle treasury accounting functions, including support for foreign currency and derivative accounting.
- Contribute to pension accounting and address financial statement needs related to the carve-out.
- Support accounting activities related to transactions and provide backup assistance to teams with increased workloads.
- Conduct ledger reconciliations, validate data, and offer accounting support for system conversions.
- Collaborate with diverse accounting and finance teams to guarantee timely and precise financial reporting.
- Act as a versatile resource, ready to assist with various accounting efforts as priorities shift.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in Accounting.
- Experience in treasury functions is preferred.
