Job Summary

The Senior Computational Biologist plays a critical role in the early discovery oncology team at Recursion. This position involves collaborating closely with professionals from various disciplines including biology, chemistry, data science, as well as engineering teams to drive innovative research and contribute to breakthrough discoveries in cancer treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate and enhance the discovery process.
  • Utilize computational methods to analyze complex biological data and generate insights to advance cancer research.
  • Interact with biologists and chemists to integrate diverse perspectives into the research framework.
  • Support data-driven decision-making by leveraging analytics and computational tools.

Qualifications

  • A degree in a relevant field, preferably a Master’s degree, paired with over 5 years of professional experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in computational biology or related disciplines.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work efficiently within interdisciplinary teams.
