Job description
**Job Title: Scientist**
The scientist will be responsible for evaluating research protocols to ensure alignment with Federal, DoD, and FDA regulations aimed at safeguarding human subjects. This role includes overseeing a portfolio of protocols, offering support to investigators, and contributing to the creation of internal operating procedures for the Office of Human Research Oversight. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in human subjects protection. A strong understanding of Federal guidelines, particularly the Common Rule and FDA regulations, is essential, along with US citizenship.
