Job Summary
The Senior Manager will be responsible for establishing and directing an efficient procurement framework aimed at facilitating site development and construction initiatives. This role focuses on managing supplier partnerships, supervising the entire construction procurement process, and applying commercial controls to effectively oversee project expenses and mitigate associated risks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a scalable procurement operation for site development and construction.
- Manage and nurture vendor relationships to optimize performance and compliance.
- Oversee the construction procurement lifecycle, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement activities.
- Implement and maintain commercial controls to track and manage project costs and financial risks.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in construction procurement, project delivery, or a related field.
- Proficiency in negotiation with strong skills to secure favorable terms and agreements.
- Thorough understanding of construction scopes, cost estimates, and potential commercial risks.
