**Senior Purchaser**
The Senior Purchaser is responsible for overseeing procurement operations within a cooperative purchasing initiative, ensuring adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Key duties encompass managing the complete procurement process, negotiating contracts, and keeping accurate procurement records for audit purposes. Ideal candidates will possess at least 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in procurement, with a preference for those holding a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Essential qualifications include a solid understanding of federal procurement regulations, excellent negotiation abilities, and familiarity with electronic procurement systems.
