Job Summary
The role involves undertaking the electrical design, planning, and evaluation for substations, encompassing both new projects and enhancements to existing facilities. The selected candidate will conduct engineering analyses, formulate technical specifications, and liaise with clients as well as in-house teams to ensure successful delivery of project milestones.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering studies related to substation design.
- Develop detailed technical specifications for projects.
- Coordinate with clients to clarify requirements and manage expectations.
- Work collaboratively with internal project teams to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
- Participate in the design and analysis for both new substations and upgrades to existing infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in substation design is required.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes, including IEEE, NESC, and NEC, is essential.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license is regarded as an advantage.
