Job Summary
The Senior Supply Chain Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain operations. This position involves overseeing and managing various supply chain activities, from procurement to distribution, ensuring that products are delivered on time and at optimal cost.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and terms to ensure best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to meet production demands.
- Analyze data and prepare reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities in the supply chain.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and tools.
