Job description
**Shipping Supervisor**
The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for managing daily operations related to shipping and receiving, ensuring the precise and prompt movement of freight, and overseeing carrier schedules and dock appointments. This position also involves supervising warehouse personnel, upholding safety standards, and collaborating with various internal departments to fulfill delivery obligations. Applicants should possess 2 to 4 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics, with proven supervisory capabilities in a manufacturing setting. A solid understanding of truck scheduling, shipping paperwork, and basic computer systems is essential, along with a high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
