Conducts ultrasound assessments to aid in diagnosing patients, applying independent judgment in the use of non-ionizing ultrasonic waves. Works collaboratively with healthcare providers to verify the suitability of studies and ensures precise documentation and operational status of equipment. Applicants should possess a diploma from a vocational or technical school and hold an active Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification. A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant technical experience and a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association are required.
