Job Summary
The Sr. Applications Engineer specializing in Dayforce is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of advanced applications to enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of Dayforce applications, responding to user needs, and identifying areas for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications leveraging Dayforce to meet organizational demands.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform thorough testing and quality assurance to guarantee optimal performance of applications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies, recommending enhancements as appropriate.
- Document application configurations and updates comprehensively to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Dayforce or similar HRIS applications.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
