Sr. IT Business Systems Analyst
100% Remote (EST Hours)
12 Month Contract (Potential for extension)
$53-57/hr W2 For this role, the Sr. IT BSA. is responsible for working with other IT domains and our project team. Work would include identifying and defining, systems requirements, scope, and objectives through research and fact-finding with assistance.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Assess the current state of business systems, defines needs, and validates the solutions that deliver value to stakeholders and enables localized change.
• Uses industry accepted tools, techniques, methodologies, best practices, and standards to elicit, prioritize, organize, document, model, and analyze business requirements, diverse in complexity and scope used in high level requirements and/or story cards.
• Identifies business needs and uses industry-accepted tools and techniques to develop efficient requirements for new or improved solutions, while creating or modifying procedures to address complex problems, considering system dependencies, limitations, operating time, and desired results
• Collaborates with business and IT stakeholders to identify needs and effectively elicit both technical and non-technical requirements for planned enhancements, system modifications, or new system specifications.
• Engages in sessions to identify requirements that best meet business needs, providing input on options and solutions while contributing to planning, execution, deployment, and support phases of delivery.
• Provides feedback 20on the requirements process, tools and techniques.
• Serves as a key contributor in sessions to identify requirements that best meet business needs, providing input on options and solutions while contributing to planning, execution, deployment, and support phases of delivery.
• Negotiates solutions that are most efficient, cost justified and yield the best outcomes.
• Takes ownership of work tracking and managing AzDO Board Management experience, including creation of dashboards and other metrics.
• Story card creation, and additionally attending and running Scrum ceremonies
• Works with other team analysts to create and monitor progress on work items for the project.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology, business discipline or related field of study and a minimum 4 years of related work experience in requirements gathering activities or internal systems experience.
-In lieu of the above, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of 4 years related work experience in requirements gathering activities or internal systems experience.
-In lieu of the above, a minimum of 6 years related work experience in requirements gathering activities or internal systems experience.
