Travel Sterile Processing Technician

Weekly Salary: $1,320 – $1,420

Key Responsibilities of the Sterile Processing Technician:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assemble and package trays and sets of surgical instruments.
- Utilize appropriate aseptic techniques to minimize infection risks.
- Maintain precise documentation of sterilization processes and equipment upkeep.
- Work in tandem with healthcare personnel to ensure the availability of sterile supplies for surgeries.
- Comply with safety protocols regarding hazardous material handling and disposal.
Qualifications for the Sterile Processing Technician:
- Certification is required.
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomical knowledge.
- In-depth understanding of sterile processing techniques and methods.
- Knowledge of physiology to grasp the use and function of surgical instruments.
- Capability to operate sterilization equipment efficiently and safely.
- Strong attention to detail for effective cleaning, assembling, and packaging of surgical instruments.
