Job Summary
The role of the Structural Engineer (SE – Civil/Truss) is essential in ensuring the integrity and safety of structures within various projects. This position requires a keen understanding of structural design principles, as well as the ability to analyze and implement effective engineering solutions. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to project development, from initial design through completion.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop structural plans and specifications for various engineering projects.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of existing structures to evaluate their condition and durability.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure project alignment.
- Ensure compliance with local and national building codes and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout project life cycles.
- Prepare reports and documentation to communicate project findings and recommendations effectively.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is mandatory.
- Possession of a Structural Engineer (SE) license or an active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience in structural design software and engineering tools is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
