Job Summary
The intern will be a key support member of the St. Charles Highway Group, contributing to various tasks related to bridge construction planning, reporting, and engineering analysis. This role will provide a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in civil engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of bridge construction plans and associated reports.
- Conduct engineering studies to support project objectives.
- Carry out routine engineering assignments as directed by senior engineers.
- Perform design calculations to ensure project specifications are met.
- Utilize CADD software for documenting project details and designs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Preferred candidates will have experience with AutoCAD and Microstation software.
- Familiarity with TXDOT design standards is desirable.
