Job Summary
The Supplier Development Engineer plays a pivotal role in qualifying new suppliers and addressing quality and delivery issues to guarantee that essential spacecraft components align with program specifications. This position emphasizes collaboration with internal teams to enhance manufacturing processes and bolster supplier performance in response to scaling production demands.
Responsibilities
- Qualify new suppliers to ensure they meet program standards.
- Resolve quality and delivery issues related to spacecraft hardware.
- Collaborate with internal departments to refine manufacturing processes.
- Support the enhancement of supplier performance in alignment with production scaling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supplier quality or manufacturing engineering.
- Expertise in precision machining, welding, or composite manufacturing processes.
