Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist, specializing in Operating Room (OR) and Surgical Technology, plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. This position is located in Hanford, California, and involves a travel component with a minimum guarantee of 36 hours of work per week. The Surgical Technologist is responsible for providing essential intraoperative patient care and assisting in a variety of surgical functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative patient care during surgical procedures.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of the operating room environment.
- Support preoperative holding activities and manage central sterile functions when required.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are prepared and ready.
- Monitor patient conditions and ensure safety protocols are followed throughout surgical operations.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred or required.
- Relevant experience in an operating room or surgical setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
