Job Summary
The Team Lead serves as both a formal and informal leader within the unit, partnering with management to oversee the daily patient care and the operations of the unit. This individual plays a critical role in ensuring that nursing care quality remains high while effectively managing staff workflows and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to coordinate daily operations and patient care.
- Delegate tasks appropriately based on the skill levels of staff members.
- Provide guidance and clinical leadership to nursing staff.
- Maintain high standards of nursing care delivery within the unit.
Qualifications
- Possession of an associate degree or diploma in nursing.
- Minimum of one year of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
- Current RN licensure is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be maintained.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
