Job Summary
The Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) position available in Pendleton, OR, offers an exciting opportunity to work on a contract basis through FlexCare. With a competitive pay rate of $1,928 per week, this role requires dedication and expertise in medical laboratory procedures while working onsite. The ideal candidate will be involved in a night shift schedule, working three 12-hour shifts per week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct various laboratory tests and analyses to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
- Collect and process specimens following established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret laboratory results.
- Document and report findings accurately in a timely manner.
- Adhere to laboratory policies and quality control measures.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
- Proven experience in a medical laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and priorities.
