Job description
The role of the pharmacy technician involves the processing of prescription orders, overseeing inventory management, and providing support to members regarding pharmacy products and services. This position also includes managing third-party insurance claims and ensuring that patient records are kept accurate in line with legal and corporate regulations. Prospective candidates must fulfill all state-mandated qualifications for pharmacy technicians, which includes obtaining the necessary registration or licensure. Furthermore, it is essential that they secure National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) within nine months of employment.
