Job description
**Job Title: Vascular Access Specialist**
The Vascular Access Specialist is responsible for delivering vascular access services, which include the placement of PICC and midline catheters, as well as monitoring and resolving any issues with these lines for patients. This role involves close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to formulate and execute patient-centered care plans, in addition to educating both patients and their families. Ideal candidates should be a Registered Nurse or Registered Respiratory Therapist holding current BLS and ACLS certifications. A minimum of one year’s experience in an acute care environment is preferred, alongside strong IV competency and communication abilities.
