Job description
The Veterinary Assistant will assist veterinarians during examinations, surgical procedures, and dental care while ensuring safe handling and restraint of patients. Responsibilities include managing medical documentation, setting up treatment spaces, and advising clients on care protocols and medication. Applicants should have a minimum of two years’ experience in a veterinary or animal care position and demonstrate a solid understanding of veterinary terminology. Candidates must exhibit proficiency in safe animal restraint, maintain accurate medical records, and possess the physical capability to carry out clinical duties throughout their shifts.
