Job description
The Yard Hostler plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of trailers and containers within the yard to facilitate loading and unloading tasks. This position entails conducting equipment inspections, tracking trailer movements, and keeping the yard organized and free of hazards. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED along with a minimum of one year of experience in operating a yard hostler or heavy machinery. Additionally, a valid California driver’s license is necessary, as well as the capability to handle physically demanding work in diverse weather conditions.
