Job Summary
This position focuses on managing the setup, activation, and evaluation of routers and optical transport systems at various global network locations. The individual will create implementation strategies and ensure proper documentation of the network while working alongside engineering and project management groups.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of routers and optical transport equipment.
- Conduct testing of the equipment across global network nodes.
- Generate detailed implementation plans for network installations.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with the engineering team and project management to align efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in DWDM, TCP/IP, or system design.
- Strong skills in validating deployment packages.
- Experience with network automation tools is necessary.
