Job Summary
We are looking for meticulous Surgical Technologists to become part of our dedicated team in the Operating Room (OR) at our Glens Falls, New York location. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring efficient workflows in the operating room, while actively supporting patient care during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining a sterile environment to ensure patient safety during surgical procedures.
- Support the surgical team by preparing the operating room and organizing necessary instruments.
- Aid in the positioning of patients for surgeries to ensure optimal access for the surgical team.
- Help in the process of obtaining and managing surgical instruments and supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote a smooth surgical experience for patients.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
- Certification or eligibility to become certified as a surgical technologist.
- Experience in an operating room setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
