Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is accountable for organizing and overseeing patient care processes while ensuring a secure environment in the Emergency Room. This role includes monitoring patients’ health status, implementing infection control measures, and delivering education to both patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate various aspects of patient care in the Emergency Room.
- Ensure a safe and compliant environment for patient treatment.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly.
- Implement and follow infection control protocols diligently.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and health management.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license in Louisiana.
- BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications.
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required, with a preference for candidates having prior experience in an Emergency Room setting.
