Job Summary
The Staff Nurse plays a critical role in managing the care of assigned patients, ensuring their safety and the attainment of individual health goals. This position requires thorough assessment, strategic planning, and effective intervention in patient care. Additionally, the Staff Nurse works in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team to impart essential patient education and facilitate discharge arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify healthcare needs.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans for patients.
- Ensure patient safety and support the achievement of health-related goals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient education.
- Assist in planning and executing discharge strategies for patients.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license in the State of New Jersey.
- Required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Experience in adult medical/surgical or progressive care settings is advantageous.
