Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role within the operating room by ensuring the highest levels of care and support during surgical procedures. This position involves maintaining exceptional standards of sterile technique and managing the necessary instruments and supplies in accordance with established policies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the operating room for surgeries by setting up surgical instruments and supplies.
- Maintain and enforce stringent sterile techniques to ensure patient safety during surgical procedures.
- Support the surgical team by providing the necessary tools and materials throughout the operation.
- Monitor and arrange surgical instruments to ensure the smooth flow of the surgical process.
- Follow policies and procedures related to the use and management of sterile instruments and supplies.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist or in a similar role is preferred.
