Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is tasked with carrying out various clinical responsibilities including conducting patient intakes, managing medication reconciliation, and administering vaccinations or performing phlebotomy. This role involves delivering comprehensive, safe care, and providing patient education in an outpatient OBGYN environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intakes and assessments.
- Manage and reconcile medications for patients.
- Administer vaccinations and perform phlebotomy as needed.
- Deliver holistic and safe care to patients.
- Provide education to patients about their health and care options.
Qualifications
- Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Valid RN license for the state of Virginia or eligibility to practice.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association is essential.
- 1-2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery is preferred.
