The Production Test Technician specializes in supporting surface mount technology (SMT) production lines. This role encompasses tasks such as PCB solder rework and the assembly of cable harnesses. The technician plays a pivotal role in addressing first pass yield challenges and creating mechanical fixtures to enhance production processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the operation of SMT production lines.
- Perform solder rework on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Assemble cable harnesses with precision.
- Troubleshoot and resolve first pass yield problems.
- Develop and implement mechanical fixturing solutions to improve production efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
