Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist (CST) for the Operating Room in General Surgery will perform essential roles in the surgical team, ensuring high-quality care for patients. This position is based in Willimantic, Connecticut, and operates on an onsite work arrangement. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary surgical instruments and supplies are available.
- Support surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures to maintain a sterile environment.
- Manage instruments and materials while performing duties in the operating room.
- Facilitate patient care activities before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Adhere to safety and cleanliness protocols to prevent infections.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
- Experience in an operating room setting, particularly in General Surgery, is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure optimal patient safety.
