Job Summary
The Seasonal Milling Operator plays a crucial role in the operation of milling lines, tasked with initiating, supervising, and ceasing operations to optimize oil yield and maintain quality standards. This position emphasizes the importance of ensuring a clean and safe working environment, alongside meticulous documentation of operational metrics and troubleshooting any equipment discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, oversee, and conclude the milling line operations.
- Ensure maximum oil extraction while upholding product quality.
- Maintain a safe and clean workplace in compliance with safety standards.
- Accurately document operational data during shifts.
- Identify and resolve any equipment issues or deviations.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in operating high-speed machinery.
- Basic understanding of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and machine control systems.
- Ability to work a 24/7 schedule, inclusive of 12-hour shifts.
- Physical capability to lift loads up to 45 lbs.
