Job Summary
The Controls, Automation & Electrical Technician for the 3rd shift is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting control systems, automation processes, and electrical equipment. This role requires expertise in various technologies and a commitment to ensuring operational efficiency. The technician will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing and facility operations by quickly resolving technical issues and facilitating improvements.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on control systems and electrical equipment.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to enhance automation processes.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system failures efficiently.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for plant operations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology.
- Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting and controls systems.
- Strong familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and related technology.
- Ability to work independently and resolve issues in a high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in electrical maintenance.
