Job Summary
The Hood Container Corporation is on the lookout for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Sumter, South Carolina packaging facility. This position will be scheduled for the 3rd shift and will mainly focus on maintaining the equipment used in our operations. Preference will be given to candidates who have direct experience with corrugators, although those with a relevant technical certification or degree will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment within the facility.
- Ensure operational efficiency by conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to enhance overall productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with corrugator operations is a plus.
- A relevant technical degree or certification is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills related to machinery.
- Ability to work effectively on the 3rd shift schedule.
