Senior Specialist – Talent Acquisition
Location: Wilmington, DE
Schedule: Hybrid – 1-2 days per week onsite, flexible
Compensation: $50-$60/HR

Position Summary:

We are in search of an ambitious and innovative Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to oversee the complete recruitment cycle for a varied array of roles, including professional, manufacturing, operations, and positions within our university rotational program. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned recruiter who excels in dynamic settings, enjoys collaborating with hiring managers, and is dedicated to providing an outstanding candidate experience from initial sourcing to final onboarding.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the comprehensive recruitment process, from initial discussions to offer acceptance.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs, articulate candidate profiles, and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Recruit for exempt professional roles, non-exempt manufacturing and operations positions, and university rotational program candidates.
  • Craft and publish engaging job postings to draw in suitable candidates.
  • Establish diverse talent pipelines utilizing social media, networking, referrals, AI recruitment tools, and various sourcing methods.
  • Review resumes, conduct phone interviews, and formulate targeted pre-screening questions.
  • Maintain continuous communication with hiring managers and HR collaborators throughout the recruitment phase.
  • Offer strategic advice by questioning assumptions, suggesting hiring methodologies, and providing insights on the talent market.
  • Enhance the candidate experience through proactive communication and timely follow-ups.
  • Keep accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure adherence to employment regulations and organizational policies throughout the recruiting process.
  • Contribute to employer branding efforts to enhance the organization’s presence in the talent market.
  • Quickly adapt to changing business priorities while managing multiple job requisitions effectively.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish with the capability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in both languages.
  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting exempt/professional-level positions.
  • Proven experience managing the complete recruitment process.
  • Strong proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Familiarity with social sourcing tactics and AI-based recruitment tools.
  • Exceptional consulting, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism in recruitment activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Experience using Workday Recruit (ATS) and Phenom CRM.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
